CMS 3710: Major Projects

Students will create the following major projects. The directions for each can be found in the D2L Assignment descriptions for each project.

  1. Keyword word cloud generated from three recent job ads
  2. One-page resumé
  3. Primary text for a LinkedIn profile
  4. Head shot for a LinkedIn profile
  5. Template for a student portfolio web site using the WordPress content management system.

Other projects will be announced later in the semester.

In addition, students will complete quizzes and exams. These assignments are detailed below.

Quizzes

All quizzes are completed online. The question format varies, including short-answer, fill in the blank, paragraph, multiple choice, etc. See the Schedule for deadlines and details.
