In Fall 2024 this class will include a midterm and a final exam.
Exam 1
Exam 1 will consist of two parts:
- A multiple choice, D2L quiz
- A written portion, submitted via D2L Assignments
Citing your game footage in the written responses
Use specific moments in your recorded footage to support your claims, and use timecode in parenthesis to indicate the beginning of each example. Please follow this model:
Melee mechanics in the game are quite complex. Without a weapon of some kind, for example, any close encounter with a clicker will result in immediate death (08:13). Joel can kill clickers using a shiv while in stealth mode (02:03), but he can survive a direct confrontation only if he has a melee weapon like a machete or an axe (01:34). Using this kind of weapon, however, will alert other enemies to his presence.
Final Exam
The final exam will be a multiple choice D2L quiz.
